A BigTree system upgrade is being planned for Wednesday, October 11, 2023. During this time, BigTree page editing services may be unavailable. Kenyon’s live website will be unaffected and remain visible throughout the process.

We do not anticipate this upgrade affecting any other services.

Wireless Service Upgrade Planned

A wireless service system upgrade is being planned for Sunday, September 10, 2023. During this time, wireless services may be slow or unavailable. Much of the campus wireless network will be reset to fix some performance problems. This will cause each of the wireless access points on campus to reboot, so wireless services across campus will not be completely restored until about 5:30 a.m.

We do not anticipate this upgrade affecting any other services.

Update: Network Connectivity Issue Resolved

We have implemented a fix and have determined that the issue with network connectivity has been resolved. Users who continue to have issues should contact Helpline for further assistance.

We apologize for this disruption in service, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We will continue to work and improve to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Networking Issue With DHCP

We have identified an issue with DHCP and Internet connectivity in certain areas of campus. When trying to connect to the campus network, users may observe a self-assigned address being assigned by their computer, or no connectivity at all..

We have not identified a workaround yet but are working diagnose the issue. We will leave updates here when we learn more information and as we implement fixes.

If your symptoms differ from those listed above, please contact Helpline to report these symptoms, as the issues may be related, and your report can help us find the issue.

Update: Duo Issue Resolved

We have implemented a fix and have determined that the issue with Duo has been resolved. Users who continue to have issues should contact Helpline for further assistance.

Update: Duo Authentication Issue Workaround

This is an update to the Duo authentication issue.

We have identified a workaround. Users who were experiencing timeouts or no Duo prompt when they tried to log in using SSO should try to log into SSO services as normal, bypassing Duo. This bypass is automatically done for you.

If this workaround does not work, please contact Helpline.
